My teeth were starting to deteriorate, and I was running out of options to repair them. The dentist gave me a choice. I could wait until the bone loss was so bad that I would have to have my teeth removed and get dentures, or I could have them removed now and get dental implants. I opted for the implants. If you’re thinking of getting dental implants, you probably have a lot of questions. I love mine, but they took some getting used to. In this blog, I’m sharing my experience and all the information that I picked up throughout my implant experience. You can find out what the procedure entails, how to prepare for your implants, and how to care for them once they’re in.

Do you have a teenager that has misaligned teeth? If so, you may be considering the different orthodontic options that can be used to fix their teeth. Here are some reasons why you should consider getting them Invisalign instead of traditional braces.
They Play Sports
Definitely consider if your teenager plays any sort of contact sports, because they can benefit from using Invisalign. They are going to be running around on the field, hit by other players, and are probably going to get knocked off their feet. Invisalign's plastic aligning tray is going to ensure that the method used to fix their teeth doesn't get in the way of them playing sports. They will be less likely to have cuts on the inside of their mouth due to the metal braces rubbing up against the soft tissue of the inside of their mouth.
They Play An Instrument
If your teenager is heavily involved in their school's band program, you definitely do not want their braces to interfere with how they play their instrument. This can be a big problem for anybody that plays a brass or woodwind instrument, since they are using their mouth to play the instrument. This is not so much an issue for string- and percussion-based instruments. Have your child get Invisalign and they will not have any disruptions while playing an instrument in band.
They Don't Practice Good Oral Health Techniques
Does your teenager currently not demonstrate good oral health techniques, such as brushing and flossing regularly? Adding on the complicated process of cleaning around braces is only going to make it more difficult to keep their mouth clean. Using Invisalign is going to make it easy to maintain good oral health rather than make it harder to do. You'll help avoid them having issues with decay because they are too lazy to keep their teeth clean around metal brackets.
They Feel Self-conscious About Traditional Braces
The biggest reason to consider Invisalign is if your teenager has reservations about traditional braces due to how they look. Invisalign is going to be the least intrusive way to correct their misaligned teeth, since others won't know that they are wearing them. They'll have more confidence when doing public speaking, such as giving a presentation to their classmates.
